Acne
Acne is not just a teenage problem

Adult acne is common, treatable, and rarely about washing your face more.
Why adults get acne
Acne in your twenties and thirties is common and it is not a hygiene problem. It is driven by oil production, hormones, and how skin cells shed inside the pore.
What actually helps
- A consistent routine, used daily rather than in bursts
- Prescription topicals where they are indicated
- Treating the marks left behind separately from active acne
What usually does not
Scrubbing harder, changing products every week, and drying the skin out all tend to make things worse. If acne is leaving marks or scars, see a dermatologist early rather than after the scarring has set in.
